Scrubbies

I would also suggest that with both of these scrubby patterns that you might add a loop for hanging if you are using them for a body scrubby like a loofa sponge. It makes it nice for hanging in the shower. This fiber is much softer when used than it appears to the touch, yet still rough enough for kitchen scrubbing and for use like a loofa on the skin. I also suggest that these not be laundered with other items as they will pick up fiber from the other items. They could also be used as coasters or decorations for a hat, scarf or almost any other crocheted items.

Needloft Plastic Canvas Yarn which is a 2 ply nylon yarn, was used to make both types of scrubbies. Colors are Camel and Pink. Hook size was an "H" and the pattern is called Flower Face Scrubbies. I think this pattern is better for kitchen use as it is a bit larger but that is purely personal preference.

The second pattern is from JPF as their pattern of the day and is called Little Hexagon Scrubber. There is an error in the written pattern so I frogged a few times till I figured out how to get it to work. I can't print out the corrections since it is not my pattern. But I have written to the group to see if corrections have been written or errors discovered. So I do not recommend this pattern unless you feel you are willing to work it out for yourself. Since this is a 2 round only pattern it uses less yarn than the Flower Face Scrubby but is a bit smaller as you can see.

That's it today. Ghost, OUT!

Beautiful and the perfect size to scrub the face. I went and printed the patterns so that means I will be making some of these for sure.

Beautiful work - I would live to try that as a doily with a finer thread type yarn. Really nice colors too.
