Spring Fling Square

Here is the lastest of the CAL Calendar Squares I have made. This one is Spring Fling and it is beautifully created by the designer. This one is done in Taupe, from Caron One Pounder. The hook size on this one was an "I" since I forgot to go up one size. It is just a smidgen smaller than the others that were done with a "J" hook but I believe it will still work. I just forgot what size I was using and did not check before beginning. I did not want to rip it out and start again. Thank for the great pattern you can click on the link to Dishcloth Diaries on the sidebar to get to the pattern. Now I just have to finish the new pattern to be caught up with the squares.

Oh, the story behind not wanting to rip this one out is because I am also working on the Lovely ruffles Shawl from the Crochet World Magazine for April 2009. I have had to do a lot of frogging on that piece and just was not in the mood to do more frogging. More about that when I post a picture of the finish shawl. Oh, I mean if it ever gets finished.

That's it today. Ghost, OUT!

That is BEAUTIFUL! I'm gonna hop over to the pattern. I really really like this. Sometimes the different squares are too lacey for my liking; but this is truly beautiful.

Hugs and thanks for your cute hat! Got it photographed and loaded to the Bridge. Hope on over and see. The color you added really sets it off.

Hugs for all you do.

Hi Ghost.. I am not even started with the May square yet, but will try to get to that one soon! Aren't these squares coming out beautifully?! We're all going to have such gorgeous afghans, thanks to Dishcloth Diaries! Can't wait to see your shawl!
