Spring Break

Hi All,
Sorry I have been on a spring break and have not been blogging or visiting any blogs. I am fine and all is well I have just been out of the loop, mood or whatever. I really was not doing much crocheting while away, not that I went anywhere. Just sitting here in my chair or resting in bed. I guess I was just being lazy. Don't really have an excuse.

Well, last week I picked up my hook again and began crocheting. I did finish this shawl I started. It was made with Hunter Green in Caron One Pounder yarn and a 'K' hook. Now I know that it looks like two colors but it is made with one skein of yarn and I can't figure out why it shows as two shades. When you look at it in person it is not two colors. Go figure!

And I know I told you all that there were going to be no pictures of the Kaleidoscope afghan I was working on but I am going to show you one square. I am currently working on it now and wanted to show at least one square. All squares are different colors except for rounds 7 white, round 8 hunter green, and the final three rounds of sunshine print which was donated to me by June from She Spins Wool.

So that is what I have been up to and I will try to catch up on my visits as I can.

That's it today. Ghost, OUT!

Glad you are back. Many prayers have been sent up for you. I love the square and shawl too. Any hints as to the pattern for the shawl? It would make a super Prayer Shawl!

Sis everything you make is stunning and I wish everyone could see them live on camera as I do. You do beautiful work.

Look at all the people that love and missed you. They know a good person when they read the blogs and talk through groups and blogs. They know that you are one of those people. :)

That kaleidoscope is really interesting. I'll bet it will make a beautiful ghan! As to the two colors, who knows? Cameras do funny things sometimes as I can attest. LOL So glad to see you back, but I do know sometimes we just have to take a break and rest.

Glad you're back and feeling better. The square is super awesome...not that I'm surprised, everything you make is fabulous. But, those colors, and the patiences you must have to change colors and work those tails in all the time. YIKES

If you need a wee break from the yarn, cruise through my travel blog. I've done lots of updates there lately. Been such a good diversion for me. Remembering better times.

Hugs

The shawl is very pretty. It looks almost the same color as one I just recently finished. I like the kaliedoscope (?) square.

The crochet shawl looks pretty, glad also your back & posting, there's nothing wrong with staying at home and relaxing. My favourite recharge is to stay at home, turn the phone off and watch some rented dvd's

I have a caron pounder in a rose shade that would make a pretty shawl.
