Squares Saturday

When you came here I am sure you thought that you would find crochet squares. Maybe some granny squares...

Well, to tell you the truth that may be what you find here someday. But today I wanted to mention how our life is filled with squares and how we are surrounded by them. Some of them are even human!

Today I want to show you a different type of square, one that surprised me and I think it may surprise you also.

SQUARE WATERMELONS

It is not as surprising as I originally thought. They have been grown since 2003 in Japan and you can read more about how they are grown at these two sites My Square Watermelons and Wikipedia.

From what I read you can try this with other fruits and veggies also. So that is what my Saturday Squares are bout this week. Next week I will take you on another square journey. Life is surrounded by squares. Just look around you.

That's it today. Ghost, OUT!
