Another Scarf for Metro

This is another scarf made for the Metro Hotel group. That gives me a total of 8 hats and 8 scarves. This pattern comes from FAVE Crafts and is called Light and Lacey scarf. It is part of a set but I am only making the scarf. It is a very easy pattern to follow and is just a shell and dc combination of stitches. It works up very quickly and it gave me the chance to use the Aztec yarn from Red Heart. The color of the yarn is called Passion.

Now, I think I will complete the two blanket/afghans I have going. The Granny Ripple which I have been working on steadily and the Gourmet CAL that really needs my attention. Then my plan is work on the Luna surprise I have mentioned before. But my list of items I want to make just seems to grow and grow no matter how fast or steadily I work my hook the list just never ends or grows shorter even. It appears that for each item I finish I add two or more that I want to do... Alas, the crocheters lament! That is why we are such yarn hoarders and stashers, there is always another project in the wind.

Ghost, OUT!

Ghost, I loved what you said at the end about the crocheter's lament. How true! There is always another project waiting for us. The problem (for me) is that I love to read (and imagine) patterns as much as I love to make them, so I'm caught in this cycle, too.

Hey ghost - first, that pet pad is just adorable! Sounds like a good way to make a scrap rug, too, since I don't have any pets... ;)

Second, what is the Metro Hotel Group you're talking about? You probably mentioned it in your blog before, but I don't remember it - could you do a quick "refresher", please?

Thanks! Love reading your blog!!

Have a great day!!!

I am so glad I found you! I'm "working" off your blog, to replace a lot of the same blogs I follow. Some how I deleted my whole list. As the other comments, what is Metro? Love your blog background. Also, you've given me a great idea on how to use up the bags of scraps I have. Beautiful scarf.
