Another shot of the Star Slouchy Hat from the front with the band added. I did make some adjustments to the band. I added a row of decreases to make the band tighter.
Once again from the side.
And finally a shot of the hat finished from the back. This was a fun hat to make and I think the star alone would make a great hotpad or pot holder.
This was yarn that I had never worked with before but found I loved it. It is Caron Simply Soft Shadows in Dark Moss. I love how it blends. It was also a new technique for me and that was fun also. I used a size "H" hook and the pattern can be found here.
And finally for today is from my favorite hat pattern. This time I used Red Heart Strata Pattern Stripes yarn in Crayon and used an "H" hook. This hat goes really fast for me and seems to fit most heads without adjustments.

That Caron yarn is so pretty... will have to look for that! Love how all your hats turned out.
Love your patterns and colors. I needed more ideas, I was starting to get bored with my same old, same old.
I really like the hats, especially the "star" hat. Very pretty!
LOVE the colors in your favorite hat, the 2nd one. Also love it when the yarn makes the stripes rather then changing yarn and messing with ends etc.
Made a slouch hat for my daughter a couple of years ago that she loved, this looks similar, I'll have to check out the pattern. The slouch hats seem to work well for gals with longer or thicker hair. Hair doesn't get as messy.
As always your work is fabulous.

for comparison I've never liked Caron Simply Soft, it separates so badly knitting or crocheting; is this yarn you used heavier than Simply Soft? It never seems the same thickness to me as other 4 ply's even though it's labeled that way.
The Star Slouchy Hat looks really good I like the mix of colours.
Glad you're back!!!!
I like the beautiful diva outfit for Luna and the star slouchy hat, very pretty!!!!
Abrazos!
