My Babette Blanket

I mentioned before I was working on a Babette Blanket or Afghan. I did not have photos at the time. I layed out the squares I have done so far and this is what I have come up with.

I am not sure this will be the final layout design, but it is what I have done so far.

These squares have no rhyme or reason. They were all made with scraps of yarn and squares I have tested for other people or squares I made from afghans I thought I wanted to make then discovered I did not care for making the square. So, instead of donating them as I would usually do, I decided to gather them and make a ghan of them myself. This is the results so far. There are all different weights of yarn used and different sized hooks.

Ghost, OUT!

Neat-O! Some of those squares are really pretty, like the white one. It's going to make an interesting blanket when you're finished.

Have a nice day, girlfriend.

Have a nice day.

Many smiles and lovely greets from Germany,

This will be a really fun afghan to work on, getting each square to find its home in the final layout. Will love to see the finished ghan. I should do that with the things I've been accumulating too, the squares that didn't come out the size I was needing at the time and such. You always inspire me. :-)
