Travel Day Feb 18th 2009

I was up at 5:20 A.M. this morning. Do you think I might be excited. I did my morning routine, prayers, Bible study, bathroom, coffee, mail, blogging, free sites (there was a cute peanut pattern on The Daily Crocheter). Then I did my last minute packing and got dressed.

Called for my appt. at the hairdressers. They were not open yet. I crocheted on the Brocade doily for a couple of rounds (more on that later). Called again, still not open. It is hard to wait you know. Changed some settings for mail retrieval while I am gone. Now, I sit and wait to go to hairdressers. Once that is done it is just wait and it will be hard since all my tools are packed I can't crochet, so I guess I will do some Bible study.

Well, my girl was not in today so I am going without a haircut and style. But my hat will disguise it all. I will be off soon and write again once I get there.

Me and my traveling companion, Jehovah, had a wonderful flight. I have never flown when there was such little turbulence and when there was I did not panic as I usually do. Because I knew I was protected. There were some unexpected surprises but I am not going into that at this time. Just know I made it safely, had some spaghetti dinner sis made that was delicious. We then watch American Idol and I went to bed.

Feb. 19, started out early. That is today as I write this I have already learned to use a new pom pom maker and can cast on, knit and purl. It seemed to come back like riding a bicycle. I have done mail and tried to set up the computer with a few sites I visit regular. It will take a while to get settled but I see it happening.

I know you will have a wonderful time with Scarlet. I can't wait to see what you two come up with as far as your crocheting goes.
