Here is a picture of the Polish Star Pillow that I made the back for yesterday. I am thinking I may send this to my adoptive person now that it is complete.
I used a "J" hook and Coats and Clark yarn in Hot Red for the back. The pattern was just one row of hdc and one row of sc alternating. I just counted my stitches across the front to make my starting chain. I am glad this project is out of the way and wish I had lined it first.
I am now working on a surprise gift for a blogger friend and a wheelchair bag for my CFAC group. I am trying to get some of my smaller projects done this month so I can complete some of my afghans and throws. I so want to complete the series of squares for the Yearly CAl Afghan and scarves over at Blue Crab Crochets at Midnight and her mom at Dishcloth Diaries. I have two scarves to catch up on and all the squares, since I have not started them yet. She also has a heap of nice looking dishcloths I would like to make. So I am off to work on the projects at hand before starting anything new.
That's it today. Ghost, OUT!

The pillow is beautiful. I know what you mean about finishing projects, I still have 3 WIP's I have to complete, and yet I start something new. Oh well, keeps me out of trouble (hopefully).
Very cool. I've not seen anything like that before. I keep getting confused thinking I'm on Scarlet's page and end up on yours and vice versa. I pretty sure I clicked on her name from a comment on my travel blog...I'll get it straight one of these days. lol
Just chipping away ever so slowly with getting back to people

Oh that little dress bookmarker is so cute! I will have to make one of those. That would be a nice way to ease into clothing. :-) I will put it on my to-do list. Eventually it will get made. I also like the other bookmarks and wheelchair caddy and slippers. I have a slipper sock still in my WIPs or is it a UFO? LOL I made one and have the second to make but it is really big.
That pillow is nice. I have been in the mood to crochet a pillow, lately. I haven't made one in years. I should make this one for my husband, he is Polish.
