Something New In My Future

I have been told that I am going to be a grandma again in October of this year. So I have decided to make a few things for the up coming event.

I have started with some cute hats. I would like to make twelve and have started with these three.First this candy corn hat from Peanutz Mom site. Made using an "h" hook and worsted weight yarn.

Next from the same site is this cute Ghost hat. Of course there had to be one of those. I chose to use my own decorations for the hat. Two eyes of plastic spider webs and a pony bead center for each and the mouth with pony beads also. Made with cotton flocked yarn from Red Heart and an "H" hook.

I followed with my version of the Chocolate kiss hat. This is a stand up view with the tiny piece of paper coming from the top. I used an "H" hook and just did my own thing for the hat pattern. Kind of guess as you go.

This is a flat view of the same hat.

I am in the process of making more hats. But have plans on doing at least one blanket and some bibs. We don't know yet if it is a girl or boy, but I will make some other items also if I have time. I continue to work on the Metro Hotel project as well.

Ghost, OUT!

Thank you for the links to the crocheted hangers!

I just have to say this...that first hat really looks like a boob! I'm just saying.
