WIP Afghan Completed

I finished the border on these squares I made a while back. I have taken two photos to show this 3x5 square afghan.

Border is hdc for first round, in Coats and Clark Super Saver in Monet, 4 ply Worsted Weight yarn.

Second round was done using the same yarn Static Stitch is the way I did it. I am into that stitch recently and the hook size for all border rounds was a "J".

Red Heart WW acrylic Super Saver in Frosty Green, one of my favorite green colors and the pattern for the third round is as for the Static Stitch and last round was a hdc.

All corners are 2dc, ch2, 2dc.
Ghost, OUT!

Hmm Guess my first submission didn't work. Nice job on the afghan! I really like the heart square. I have seen that pattern before but I don't recall making it. Will have to pull it out and have a look at it again when I finish the ghan I'm working on now.

Oops. I was wrong. I did work it. I went looking for the pattern and found a picture almost immediately, if it's the same pattern. Looks like it.

I'm not familiar with static stitch, you've got me curious, will have to look it up.

Making rounds today from Bridge and Beyond to everyone who's donated. Wanted to be sure everyone knows about the contest, runs from Feb 14th til March 14th.

Since you're joining afghans, you might really enjoy Leisure Arts 50 More Crocheted Afghan Borders by Jean Leinhauser. I've enjoyed using many of the patterns she has in that book.

Hope to see you on The Bridge.
