Fuzzy Things

Amigurum Cat is an item I whipped up yesterday. Two views again showing the tail that I added and the back.

If you look closely you can seen the pattern on the screen. I used the same Squiggly yarn for this item. I think at this point I am toyed out and I still want to make some Becky Teddies with more of the novelty yarn.

The Best Bunny can be found on the Lion Brand site if you are signed in as a member. He was made with the Squiggly yarn that I had left over from Dustins Sweater I made for Christmas for him last year.

These two photos show the fuzzy caterpillar I made. You have to scroll down the page to find him. Kristie has lots of toy patterns on this site.

I used several different fun novelty yarns to make this one and all of the items on this page are going to CFAC. I used a light weight sports yarn for this creature.

And a Ghost from Ghost found at Halloween Ghost. I added some fun eyelash fuzzy to the edge to make it look like the breeze created when he moves through the air. My daughter says he looks more like the scrubbing bubbles man. What do you think? Both of these patterns came from Suncatcher Saftey eyes site.

Here is two shots of the Amigurumi Heart I made. I added a patch to the back and some fuzzy hair.
A "G" hook was used with acrylic yarn.

The pattern I used is from 1990's Annie's Attic Booklet called Mile-A-Minute Baby Afghans. I used the pattern called Basic Mile-A-Minute. I did make adjustments to the pattern. They included using the novelty yarn for the third round, not working in back loops only, adding an extra round and using a hook size larger than called for.

My hook size was an "H" and the yarn I used was about 5 ozs. Red Heart Super Saver in Orchid, 3 or 4 ozs. Caron One Pounder in White and about 65 grams Patons Twister in Grape Nuts.

I still want to make some Becky Teddies but may do some other items in between. I still have some much of that novelty yarn left over. I have hardly made a dent. These are the things I have worked on using that pile of yarn I had. All of your comments were correct. I think I made a little of everything every one thought I would.

That's it today. Ghost, OUT!

Wow! You have been busy! Everything looks so great. Love that worm, and of course, the cat! I'm working on a MaM, too, in shades of aqua varigated.

Oh how very cute!! I love these! And the mam is so pretty. I'll be pulling out my mam book again and looking for a different pattern to explore. You are my inspiration.
