Here is another dishcloth for the month of may. If you click on the picture you can see the design a little better. These designs are a mystery until you complete the cloth so you never know what you will be making until it is done.
l used Lion Brand Cotton in Poppy Red. I really don't favor this yarn over Peaches n' Cream or Sugar n' Cream. It is very dense to work with and does not have any type of sheen to it. The needle size was a 5-1/2. This is the first cloth that I have knitted that does not have some type of error in it.
I am still working on the shawl but have frogged it so many times that I have changed to a different pattern stitch. The pattern I was using had to have errors in it because my ends never came out right. I think they had their end finishes and starts mixed up. It became to frustrating. But what I am doing now is just a shawl that is rectangular and done in a stitch I got out of 101 Crochet Stitches by Jean Leinhauser.
That's it today. Ghost, OUT!

Very pretty! I don't think I have ever used the Lion Brand cotton. Good to know it's dense. I'm not sure if I would like a mystery item, but maybe I would. I might have to try it. That is the same site that did the shawl, isn't it? They do both knit and crochet?
Until recently I didn't know you were such a knitter, I knew you had crochet hooks that smoked....I've seen the plume from here...lol, but your knitting is awesome! What a beautiful square. Have you ever made a bunch of knitted ones and hooked them together for a ghan? I love the design.
HUGS for all your wonderful support, it has been truly appreciated.
